Lance and I just wanted to write and tell you what a fabulous job Brandie did with planning my 40th birthday celebration! She was so helpful with each and every step along the way. Lance definitely appreciated all of the help. She organized so many things from the catering, set up, and room reservations, all the way to the clean up; was right there anticipating all of our needs. My family also gives Brandie kudos and compliments for being so accommodating and professional while they were setting up the party room. She also made sure she was there during the party to make sure we were well taken care of.
We will definitely return to The Hunt Lodge for our next event because of your wonderful staff and will be sure to recommend you guys to anyone in search of a party facility! Thank you so much!
What an immaculate place! From the moment I stepped through the lobby doors, I could tell that this place pays attention to detail. All of the employees were smiling and helpful, they even offered me a bottle of water at check-in because I said I was hot!! More than that, the rooms were spotless clean and beautiful. The indoor pool and jacuzzi was incredible and huge! So much fun for the kids. The front desk even let us borrow goggles for our sons. What a treat. I give this place a great A+ rating for cleanliness and friendliness!
I was only able to stay at this hotel for one night, as work dictated my schedule. I sure wish I could have stayed longer. WONDERFUL scenery, fantastic employees, relaxing and clean room. A HUGE thumbs up!!!
We stayed here during the winter carnival and it was wonderful. The hotel is newer and beautifully furnished. The staff was extremely friendly. Our room was very roomy and very clean. The bathroom was the nicest i have seen in a hotel. There was plenty of room for luggage. The breakfast was a typical Holiday Inn Express breakfast, and even though I have had better continental breakfasts, it was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

We are into our second evening here and it has been so very nice. Beautiful decor, from the common areas (granite table tops in the dining area! ) Taxidermy trophies everywhere ... beautiful lodge themed fixtures everywhere. A spotless, tastefully decorated suite room that comfortably sleeps five - the rollaway bed actually fits in the room. Granite in the bathroom ... stainless fridge and microwave, soft comfy beds. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and the dining room very spacious. The kids really enjoyed the pool and huge spa. Overall, I'd highly recommend this hotel to families with kids.
Excellent! As the Superintendent of a Virtual School finding places to stay while I am out working with kids has been key. I have never felt more welcome and at home than I do in my stays there. I think I have your robe in every color offered. ~ Vickie M.
What a beautiful facility! The rooms were huge and so clean. I wish we would have gotten there earlier in the evening to enjoy the pool and got up earlier to enjoy the breakfast. Even with missing both of these things, we loved our stay.
The Hunt Lodge is the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed. It is beautiful
and in a beautiful area, and my kids love it. It is very family friendly.
We stayed in a suite. It had a separate bedroom, a pullout couch and 2 king beds. Everything was top notch.... plush towels, fridge, microwave, extra pillows, comfy beds, ceramic and granite everywhere. The indoor pool was one of the nicer ones I've used, and the whirlpool was oversized. The people manning the front desk were friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast had good variety and the dining area had plenty of seating.
Overall, this was easily the nicest Holiday Inn that I've used, and for $160.00 a night, one of the best hotel deals ever.
My husband and I were driving home to Boise from visiting family near Coeur d' Alene last March. It was getting late, the road was icy, and we heard warnings of rock slides in the area. We has previously seen a billboard for The Hunt Lodge, so I called information for the number to see if they had rooms. We couldn't really afford to stop for the night, but the desk attendant gave us a great rate. And when we arrived at nearly 11 p.m., they re-opened the pool area so we could warm up in the hot tub before heading to bed. One comfy bed and one warm breakfast later, we were back on the road. It turns out there were several rockslides on Highway 55 that night, and I'd like to thank the folks at The Hunt Lodge for giving us a safe place to stay at a reasonable rate.
We went to McCall on a winter ski trip and stayed at The Hunt Lodge. It was such a beautiful hotel. The decor was amazing. We were there during the week so they were not too busy and upgraded us to a Jacuzzi Suite. It was amazing. It had two rooms so we were able to put the kids in one room and have privacy in the other. The staff was wonderful, from check in to check out, they really went out of their way to accomodate us. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a long day skiing. Breakfast was great too!! I would definately reccommend this hotel to anyone traveling to McCall.
Upon arrival in snow covered McCall we decided to see if we could check-in early. 11:45am. No problem. Very nice front desk staff. :) The room was very spacious. NICE beds, choice of pillows (firm or soft). The bathroom was WAY bigger than average. Granite countertop, granite shower!! We had one issue with the built-in blow dryer and after one attempt at repair, they just brought us a new one! Nice continental breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
I travel quite frequently on business in Idaho. I have stayed at just about every motel in McCall and the Holiday Inn Express is by far the best accomodations available. Even though it's not located downtown the amenities and staff make up for it. The decor for a Holiday Inn Express was amazing, much nicer than others I've stayed in. The pool and large spa was were clean and well cared for.
You won't be disappointed!!
